Delaware: Open For Business

Delaware Business, May/June 2016

Timothy Jay Houseal, Environmental Law Partner and Delaware State Chamber of Commerce Environmental Committee Member, along with Lisa Goodman and Doug Gramiak, Strategists for Young Conaway Public Strategies, were quoted in the recent article, "Delaware: Open For Business", authored by Larry Nagengast. The article appears in the May/June issue of Business Matters, the Delaware State Chamber of Commerce magazine.

The article discusses Delaware's court system, including the Superior Court's Complex Commercial Litigation Division. Houseal notes that businesses come to Delaware because the courts are "fair, efficient and predictable." Lisa Goodman and Doug Gramiak believe that Delaware's General Assembly and executive branch also deserve credit for helping Delaware businesses, and those who wish to relocate here, to remain competitive. “The willingness of the General Assembly to listen and react is not limited to large companies. They are just as responsive to startups and small businesses as they are to Fortune 200 companies,” Goodman says.
