Kara Peischl Dodson, Director of Recruiting and Associate Development, is a graduate of Temple University School of Law, where she was an editor on the Temple Law Review and graduated with Honors. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in English and Art History at Lafayette College. Before switching to Human Resources management, Kara practiced Family, Employment and Litigation law, having worked for such Philadelphia law firms as Berner & Klaw; Obermayer, Rebmann, Maxwell & Hippel; and Duane, Morris & Heckscher. After leaving the practice of law in 2006, Kara was a Human Resources Director at Gamesa Technology Corporation. Kara is admitted to and active in the Pennsylvania Bar, where she has served on the Professional Responsibility Committee and the Women in the Profession Committee. Kara has done her share of pro bono work, handling cases for Women Against Abuse, the Philadelphia Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts, and DVLS. She is also active in a number of community organizations and activities, including serving in her second term on the Board of Trustees at the School in Rose Valley as well as co-chairing their Development Committee; and serving in her second term on the Board of Directors of the Wallingford Community Arts Center.
