Young Conaway structures its compensation package to be competitive and to demonstrate the value we place on our professionals. Candidates often mention that the firm distinguishes itself from other firms by carrying the entire cost of health insurance and offering zero-waiting periods for eligibility in several benefit categories.
Summer associates receive a weekly salary of $2,800, as well as a $1,000 signing bonus, paid in early May prior to the start of the program. In addition, the firm completely reimburses associates for round-trip travel to Wilmington and provides support in finding summer housing. We also offer a stipend to candidates staying with relatives during their summer with us.
