ADR and Diversity Symposium, New York Law School
Corporate Litigation and Counseling Partner William Johnston will be speaking at the ADR and Diversity Symposium on January 26, 2021 from 4:30 to 7:00 pm EST. This event is free of charge and will take place online via Zoom.
The symposium is part of New York Law School's Alternative Dispute Resolution Skills Program and features Keynote speakers Deborah Enix-Ross, Debevoise & Plimpton,
Patricia Lee Refo, President, American Bar Association, and the Hon. O. Peter Sherwood, Justice, New York State Supreme Court Commercial Part.
During smaller breakout sessions, attendees will join the speakers to explore the reasons why, in a diverse economy driven by diverse participants, the practice of arbitration and mediation has been persistently homogeneous. Attendees will learn real-world approaches to accomplish the goal of ADR neutrals reflecting the diversity of the disputants with whom they work.
