Anne Shea Gaza Moderating Panel at Para IV Conference, "The Distinctive Roles of The Magistrate Judge and Local Counsel in Paragraph IV Proceedings"

On Monday, April 23rd, Anne Shea Gaza will be moderating a panel at the 12th Annual Paragraph IV Conference entitled, "The Distinctive Roles of The Magistrate Judge and Local Counsel in Paragraph IV Proceedings."  The Paragraph IV Conference, held in NYC, gathers leading pharmaceutical patent litigators to discuss, debate, and analyze the latest trends, judicial rulings and legislative developments affecting Hatch-Waxman litigation.

Ms. Gaza's panel will discuss the role of Magistrate Judges in hearing key motions and resolving disputes in ANDA cases.  They will also consider the importance of retaining local counsel in jurisdictions where local patent rules are in effect.  Often, these local rules dictate everything from scheduling, to discovery and dispositive motions.
