The Year in Review from the Perspectives of Judges and Attorneys, 2021 Annual Advanced Restructuring and Plan of Reorganization Conference Hosted by AIRA

M. Blake Cleary, a partner in Young Conaway's Bankruptcy and Corporate Restructuring Group, will be a co-moderator at the 2021 Annual Advanced Restructuring and Plan of Reorganization Conference hosted by AIRA at The Union League Club in New York.  Mr. Cleary will be joined by co-moderator Joseph J. DiPasquale, a partner in Fox Rothschild’s Morristown, New Jersey and New York City offices and panelists The Honorable Robert D. Drain, United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York, The Honorable Rosemary Gambardella, United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of New Jersey, and The Honorable Brendan L. Shannon, United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware. 

Their panel entitled, "The Year in Review from the Perspectives of Judges and Attorneys," is considered the “hallmark session of the conference."  Topics discussed will include a summary of recent mass torts cases, the Nondebtor Release Prohibition Act of 2021, independent directors, Section 365 of the Bankruptcy Code and executory contract issues, good faith filing, and consent rights under LLC agreements.
