Jordan brings a bright and passionate mind to his practice representing corporate debtors and debtors-in-possession in chapter 11 bankruptcy proceedings and cross-border insolvencies. His interest in this practice was piqued in his hometown of Montreal, while working in the bankruptcy and insolvency group of a major Canadian accounting firm, assisting the firm’s trustees represent and serve individual and corporate debtors under the Companies’ Creditors Arrangement Act and the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act. Jordan went to law school with the express goal of assisting corporate debtors with their restructuring efforts.
While in law school, Jordan gained invaluable insight and experience interning for the Honorable Barry S. Schermer in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Missouri and the Bankruptcy Appellate Panel for the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals.
Jordan’s broad range of experience helps him bring a multifaceted approach to the problems clients face in and outside of bankruptcy, whether local or cross-border. As a member of the Young Conaway team, Jordan is able to provide consistently beneficial outcomes.
