Bissell Quoted in Financial Times Supplement "Agenda Week"

Corporate Litigation and Counseling Partner Rolin Bissell was recently quoted in, "When Directors Stand Idly By," an article written by Jennifer Williams-Alvarez of the Financial Times Supplement AgendaWeek The article outlines the events surrounding the 2016 bankruptcy of Education company ITT Educational Services and the CEO who is credited with leading the company to its downfall. In the article, Mr. Bissell discusses the actions of the board of directors and their "controlled mind-set....[Directors] sort of get the feeling that the CEO is so powerful that he or she is going to get what he or she wants, no matter what, and so directors decide to just go along with it."
