Lengkeek Ascends to President of the Delaware Trial Lawyers Association and is Appointed to the Board of Governors of the American Association for Justice

Timothy E. Lengkeek, a partner in Young Conaway Stargatt & Taylor’s Personal Injury and Workers’ Compensation Section, has been named President by the members of the Delaware Trial Lawyers Association (DTLA). His term of office will begin on July 1, 2012. The DTLA’s mission is to promote safe products and workplaces, protect the environment, ensure quality healthcare and protect the legal rights of those who have been injured. Members also seek to further the rule of law and the civil justice system.

Mr. Lengkeek was also appointed to the Board of Governors of the American Association for Justice (AAJ). He is one of only three attorneys in the State of Delaware who currently hold this honor. The AAJ is considered the largest trial bar with members worldwide. As a member of the Board of Governors, Mr. Lengkeek will establish and approve Association policies that promote fair and effective justice.

At Young Conaway, Mr. Lengkeek represents a wide array of clients (both inside and outside of the State of Delaware) who have been injured or killed as a result of auto or work accidents, medical negligence, or by defective products. His courtroom successes have led to a life-time membership in the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum.
