Young Conaway Counsel Donald J. Bowman, Jr. Named To Mayor-Elect Mike Purzycki's Transition Team

Young Conaway is pleased to announce that Bankruptcy and Corporate Restructuring Counsel Donald J. Bowman, Jr. has been named to Mayor-Elect Mike Purzycki's Transition Team. The Transition Team, which was announced on Wednesday afternoon, consists of 13 committees that will meet over the next several weeks and share their observations with the Mayor-Elect. 

Mr. Bowman will be focusing on issues specific to Law. He will be joined by the following Law team members: Sara Toner of Richards Layton & Finger, Attorney Samantha Balick, Tom Carney of Morris James, Tabatha Castro of the Castro Firm, former State Magistrate Linda Gray, and Mark Purpura of Richards Layton & Finger. 

Donald J. Bowman, Jr. joined Young Conaway in 2005. Since joining the firm, he has focused his practice on the representation of corporations as debtors and debtors-in-possession in several large and complex chapter 11 bankruptcy proceedings as well as the representation of other major constituents in chapter 11 bankruptcy proceedings, including administrative agents, secured lenders and various other creditors. As part of his practice, Mr. Bowman has represented public and privately held companies that operate in a variety of industries in both the District of Delaware as well as the Southern District of New York.
