Biography

Nicholas brings extensive litigation experience managing complex commercial litigation in the Delaware Court of Chancery—including commercial transactions, corporate governance disputes, and actions involving claims of breach of fiduciary duty and fraud.  Nicholas routinely litigates expedited matters in the Court of Chancery, including actions seeking expedited injunctive relief.  Nicholas has represented special committees, both in the context of litigation and internal investigations.  Nicholas has also advised corporate boards regarding corporate governance issues involving Delaware corporate law.

Apart from his active corporate litigation practice, Nicholas devotes significant effort to the pro bono representation of individuals in immigration deportation proceedings.   Nicholas has represented clients in more than 20 trials before U.S. Immigration Courts in Philadelphia, PA, York, PA, Baltimore, MA, and the District of Columbia.  Nicholas has also pursued an expedited petition for a writ of habeas corpus in U.S. District Court.
