Biography
Phil struggled to decide whether to practice criminal or civil litigation—but he always knew that he belonged in the courtroom. His desire to provide legal representation to clients grew even stronger after working as a legal assistant at a criminal defense firm in Rockville, Maryland. Ultimately, civil litigation became Phil's passion after completing his judicial internship for Magistrate Selena E. Molina at the Delaware Court of Chancery. Phil’s unique skillset and experiences allow him to understand clients’ goals and to provide skillful legal representation in the District of Delaware.
Phil graduated magna cum laude from Temple University Beasley School of Law with a Certificate in Trial Advocacy and Litigation. At Temple Law, Phil was a National Trial Team champion who emerged victorious with an undefeated record at the Sixteenth Annual Capitol City Challenge hosted at the American University Washington College of Law in Washington D.C. In addition, Phil served as a Teaching Assistant for Evidence, President of the Asian-Pacific American Law Student Association, and Staff Editor for the International and Comparative Law Journal. Upon graduation, Phil was awarded the Jerome M. Staller Award for being the most promising litigator in his graduating class.
Outside of work, Phil is an active volunteer for the Azzim Dukes Initiative—an anti-gun violence nonprofit organization—founded to provide affordable, and sometimes free, boxing lessons for underprivileged children in Philadelphia.
