Biography
While no two estates are ever the same, Richard Popper has seen enough trust and estate work over 35-plus years in practice to confidently assert that he can develop a strategy for any situation, even if it might appear completely novel. In matters of business succession, tax planning, inheritance, and a wide range of other family concerns, Richard creates and administers the trusts that form the legal and financial foundation of his clients’ estates.
Combining a thorough technical command of the law with a meticulous assessment of each client’s unique issues, Richard brings a heightened sensitivity to the needs of families confronting realities that are often deeply personal and sometimes painful.
As Delaware is often in the forefront of new trust and estate law, Richard closely studies each new tool as it becomes available, and regularly applies these tools to his clients’ advantage.
