Biography
Tom specializes in adversary proceedings stemming from Chapter 11 bankruptcies. He is known for the common sense, down-to-earth approach to litigation he acquired while serving as a prosecutor in the District Attorney’s Office of Philadelphia. He has filed dozens of appellate briefs and conducted numerous trials and pre-trial hearings during his career. Tom’s upbeat personality and collaborative nature should not fool anyone; he is a hard-nosed litigator who gets to the point, or gets creative when necessary.
Prior to joining Young Conaway, Tom and two of his colleagues founded The Life Treasures Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit dedicated to providing healthcare workers with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. Through grassroots fundraising efforts, The Life Treasures Foundation has been able to purchase and deliver 7,500 protective masks to 7 local health organizations so far in 2020.
