Richard is the firm's Administrative Partner. He also practices in the areas of real estate, commercial transactions and banking law. In the areas of real estate law, Richard has substantial experience representing purchasers and sellers of commercial real estate, including shopping centers, office buildings and industrial properties. He has also represented lenders with respect to construction and permanent financing. Richard has lectured on the subject of commercial landlord-tenant relations and leasing at various continuing legal education seminars and for trade groups.
His practice outside of real estate includes the general representation of business entities and representation of buyers and sellers of business entities, whether structured as equity or asset sales. These transactions have varied from local "mom and pop" businesses to participation as local counsel in transactions of national scope. In particular, Richard's practice frequently involves rendering opinions of Delaware law with respect to local, national and international business and financial transactions, particularly matters relating to the Uniform Commercial Code.
