Young Conaway offers a broad range of intellectual property services to national and international corporate clients. We are focused on achieving our client’s specific business objectives. With many years of experience in both jury and bench trials before Delaware’s federal and state courts, our attorneys are often asked to take a significant role in technical, bet-the-company cases.

Litigating in Delaware

The United States District Court for the District of Delaware and Delaware’s Court of Chancery continue to be "go to" courts for the resolution of intellectual property disputes because of their ability to handle complex, accelerated matters. Our attorneys have developed strategies to efficiently and effectively respond to the demands of high-stakes disputes pending before these courts. Members of our team also have served as judicial law clerks, which provides our clients with deeper knowledge and better insight on a variety of issues.

Thought Leaders

Members of Young Conaway’s Intellectual Property team are active as officers and leaders in intellectual property focused bar organizations. They have been recognized by clients and colleagues as leaders in their field by Chambers USA – America’s Leading Lawyers for Business, Best Lawyers®, Benchmark Litigation: The Definitive Guide to America’s Leading Firms and Attorneys, and Delaware Super Lawyers®. Our attorneys are also asked to speak at many national seminars concerning intellectual property litigation.

Public Service

Our intellectual property attorneys strive to balance work for clients with public service. Our pro bono efforts include service as guardians ad litem for underprivileged children in Delaware, volunteering for Delaware Volunteer Legal Services, and representing prisoners in court-appointed civil rights actions in the District of Delaware.
