Diversity, Equity & Inclusion

DEI at Young Conaway

Young Conaway has a long-standing commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion.  Our efforts are focused on DEI initiatives impacting the Firm, the Bar and the Community.  This includes recruiting, retaining, and promoting a diverse workforce, supporting the diversity and pipeline efforts of the Bar, and positively impacting the lives of those in need.

As a firm we recognize that it will take intentional actions to correct generations of inequities. That is why Young Conaway has prioritized diversity, equity and inclusion, and has implemented a DEI Strategic Plan focused on key areas of meaningful impact.

Young Conaway actively seeks to further this commitment through our DEI Committee and the implementation of focused mentoring and professional development initiatives.  Our DEI focus has been amplified by the hiring of a full-time Diversity Director who focuses 100% of her time on impactful diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives. Our firm leadership has also engaged external DEI consultants and held firm-wide listening sessions.  Young Conaway’s attorneys and business professionals also find community and fulfillment in the firm's support of:
