Elena C. Norman, a Partner in Young Conaway's Corporate Litigation and Counseling Section, will participate in a full-day PLI (Practising Law Institute) event known as "Hot Issues in Executive Compensation 2023" on Friday, September 8th.

This comprehensive program will navigate participants through emerging best practices in the ever-evolving landscape of executive compensation, encompassing its design, implementation, and disclosure, influenced by dynamic economic and legislative factors.

As a part of this event, Elena will be speaking in an afternoon session entitled "Strategies to Prevent Legal Challenges in Compensation Matters." This session focuses on effective methods for avoiding legal actions related to compensation matters and provides attendees with the opportunity to:

• Gain insight into the business judgment rule and the role of process matters
• Present an overview of recent compensation-related litigation topics
• Follow practical steps for avoiding compensation-related legal actions

Elena will be collaborating in this session alongside Erica E. Bonnett, a partner in the Executive Compensation and Benefits Department at Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz.
