Biography

Makayla focuses her practice on corporate and commercial litigation in the Delaware Court of Chancery and in the Complex Commercial Litigation Division ("CCLD") of the Delaware Superior Court. Her academic foundation and practical experiences have equipped her with the analytical skills and legal knowledge necessary for navigating complex corporate and commercial disputes.

Makayla graduated cum laude from Rutgers University Law School in 2024, where she was an Associate Managing Editor for the Rutgers University Law Review. During her time in law school, Makayla was a member of the Hunter Appellate Advocacy Moot Court Board, winning Best Brief in the competition, and served as a Teaching Assistant for Legal Writing and Research I and II. Upon graduation, she was awarded the First Year Legal Writing Award. Makayla earned her B.A. in English in 2021 from Saint Joseph's University, graduating cum laude.
