Biography

Jared’s broad experience enables him to bring creative solutions to complicated problems. He has advised a wide variety of clients on complex financial restructurings and distressed situations.  He has represented debtors, creditors, lenders, and other stakeholders in both in-court and out-of-court restructurings as well as corporate investigations.  Jared has also advised future claimants’ representatives in numerous mass tort bankruptcy matters, helping to craft solutions that have successfully addressed massive liabilities in a fair and equitable manner for victims.

Jared received his undergraduate degree from Hamilton College, where he double majored in economics and government. After college, Jared worked as a litigation legal assistant at Skadden, Arps in New York. He then graduated from Temple University Beasley School of Law, where he was the Symposium and Articles Editor for the Temple Law Review. While at Temple, Jared served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Judge Kevin J. Carey in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware as well as for the Honorable Judge Joseph F. Leeson for the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.

Awards and Recognitions

  • Representation of Accuride Corporation and its affiliates in their Chapter 11 cases — Among the largest and most diversified manufacturers and suppliers of wheels and wheel end components in the world, Accuride commenced its Chapter 11 cases with approximately $485.6 million in funded debt and commitments from an ad hoc group of prepetition term loan lenders to provide nearly $103 million in debtor-in-possession financing.  This restructuring won the M&A Advisor’s 2026 Chapter 11 Reorganization of the Year in the $500 million to $1 billion category.
  • Representation of ICON Aircraft, Inc. — ICON, a California-based manufacturer of light-sport aircraft, filed for Chapter 11 protection in Delaware on April 4, 2024, citing more than $170 million in debt. ICON successfully secured approval of the sale of substantially all of its assets to SG Investment America and was recognized in the M&A Advisor’s 2025 “Industrials Deal of the Year (Under $1B)” category.
