Rolin P. Bissell, Partner in the Corporate Counseling and Litigation Section, will speak at the Third Annual Delaware Law and Governance Issues Update at the Hotel DuPont on Wednesday, November 18^th. Mr. Bissell’s panel discussion, “Hot Issues in Corporate Governance & Preparing for the 2016 Proxy Season” will take place at 3:30 – 5:00pm. The panel will focus on DE Corporate Law and Governance issues along with learnings from the 2015 proxy season. It will also discuss new or anticipated rules and regulations and expectations of investors and the proxy advisors that will impact the 2016 proxy season.

The two-day conference is sponsored by The Society of Corporate Secretaries & Governance Professionals and the John L. Weinberg Center for Corporate Governance at the University of Delaware, in partnership with the State of Delaware and the ABA Business Law Section Corporate Governance. Corporate secretaries, in-house counsel, outside counsel and gover­nance professionals who advise boards are encouraged to attend. In addition to substantive CLE credits are available.
