FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
WILMINGTON, DE - Young Conaway Stargatt & Taylor, LLP is pleased to announce that four of our partners have been named IP Stars by Managing Intellectual Property's publication.
- Anne Shea Gaza, Partner, Co-Chair of the Intellectual Property Litigation Section and a member of the firm’s Management Committee, received a 2023 Patent IP Star ranking for both national and Delaware jurisdictions. Earlier this year, Ms. Gaza was named 2023 Litigator of the Year-Delaware by Managing IP in recognition of her achievements litigating intellectual property matters before the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware. She was also recently recognized for a second time as one of the Top 250 Women in IP. Ms. Gaza has extensive experience handling intellectual property matters, including patent, trademark, and trade secret disputes across a wide range of industries and technologies. She also handles complex commercial and corporate matters in the state and federal courts in Delaware.
- Adam W. Poff, Partner and Co-Chair of the firm’s Intellectual Property Litigation section along with Ms. Gaza, received both the 2023 Patent IP Star and the 2023 Trademark IP Star rankings from Managing IP Awards for both national and Delaware jurisdictions. Mr. Poff has handled, in both lead and Delaware counsel capacities, a wide variety of intellectual property matters, including patent, trademark, trade secret and copyright disputes across a number of industries and technologies.
- Pilar G. Kraman, an Intellectual Property Litigation Partner, also received the 2023 Patent IP Star ranking for both national and Delaware jurisdictions. Ms. Kraman concentrates her practice on patent infringement litigation, trade secret, and complex commercial litigation matters in the United States District Court for the District of Delaware and Delaware’s state courts. She has handled a wide range of intellectual property disputes as both lead and Delaware counsel, including representations involving pharmaceuticals, medical devices, computer software, Internet technology, and consumer electronics.
- Melanie K. Sharp, Partner and Chair of the firm’s Commercial Litigation Section, was also recognized as a 2023 Patent IP Star for both national and Delaware jurisdictions. Although Ms. Sharp litigates patent disputes (including those involving biosimilars, pharmaceuticals, and medical devices) in the United States District Court for the District of Delaware, she also serves as Delaware and lead counsel to clients navigating complex intellectual property, commercial and corporate matters in Delaware’s Court of Chancery and the Delaware Superior Court’s Complex Commercial Litigation Division.
