Biography

Craig focuses his practice on all aspects of business planning and commercial transactions, including the governance and financing of corporations, limited liability companies (LLCs), and other alternative entities.  Craig also works closely with the firm’s bankruptcy attorneys on transactional and investigative matters involving distressed companies.

Before joining Young Conaway, Craig served as a law clerk to the Honorable Jan R. Jurden of the Delaware Superior Court, practiced corporate and commercial litigation at a regional law firm, and held positions in multiple government agencies.  Craig’s prior work as a litigator, as a law clerk, and in government provides a unique foundation for his current practice. Craig’s experience litigating in the Delaware Court of Chancery and litigating and clerking in the Complex Commercial Litigation Division (CCLD) of the Delaware Superior Court gives him an appreciation of the value of meticulous and forward-thinking drafting, as he has seen how a poorly drafted agreement or instrument is likely to play out in litigation. In addition, having worked for state and local government agencies, Craig has experience enforcing regulations and conducting investigations.
