Biography
Felton excels at simplifying complex situations and issues. That is a critical skill in bankruptcy litigation involving many conflicting parties and interests. In addition to general chapter 11 and related bankruptcy litigation matters, Felton represents the interests of future claimants in mass tort bankruptcies where he is involved in some of the most cutting-edge issues currently being addressed by bankruptcy courts.
Unlike many bankruptcy litigators, Felton has also represented both borrowers and lenders in complex finance transactions. Because he knows how deals are structured on the front end, Felton is better able to advise clients in distressed situations and related litigation.
Felton is the managing partner of Young Conaway’s new Charlotte office where he is leading the firm’s efforts to expand into North Carolina.
