Biography

Recognizing that clients seldom have issues that fall within a single bucket, Jenn represents clients with diverse needs—from wealth transfer planning and estate administration to sophisticated Delaware corporate and alternative entity matters and everything in between.

Jenn’s clients are as varied as her practice. She strives to find the best solution for each client taking into account their unique situation. Jenn advises individuals or couples looking for estate planning services such as wills, powers of attorney, healthcare directives, revocable and irrevocable trusts. Owners of corporations, partnerships, limited partnerships (LPs), or limited liability companies (LLCs) seek her counsel with entity formation, tax issues, and ongoing transactions through dissolution. Those in need of more complex wealth transfer planning turn to Jenn for sophisticated trust and gifting strategies often involving directed trusts, silent trusts, Spousal Lifetime Access Trusts (SLATs), and related income, estate, gift, and GST tax planning.

Prior to joining Young Conaway's Business Planning & Tax group, Jenn lived in Georgia where she worked as a paralegal at an elder and special needs law firm and as a legal assistant in the private wealth group at a large Atlanta firm.  She decided to pursue a career as an attorney after discovering she loved helping clients with their challenging tax, estate planning, and business issues.  She earned her J.D., with honors, at Emory University School of Law, where she served as a managing editor of the Emory Law Journal.  She received the Georgia Tax Conference Award for Excellence in Taxation Courses.

Jenn lives in Newark, Delaware with her three cats.
