Three Young Conaway Associates Elected to the Board of the Multicultural Judges & Lawyers Section of the Delaware State Bar Association

WILMINGTON, DE - Young Conaway Stargatt & Taylor, LLP is pleased to announce that three Associates have been elected to the Board of the Multicultural Judges & Lawyers Section (“MJL”) of the Delaware State Bar Association.  All will begin their positions on July 1, 2022.

Alberto E. Chávez, an Associate in the firm’s Corporate Litigation and Counseling group, will serve as Chair of the MJL for a one year term.  Alberto ascends to this role after completing his term as Executive Vice-Chair of the MJL, and has previously served as Vice Chair of Public Relations, Financial Secretary, and Secretary. 

Katelin A. Morales, an Associate in the firm’s Bankruptcy and Corporate Restructuring group, will serve as Executive Vice-Chair of the MJL for a one year term.  Katelin assumes this role after serving as the MJL’s Vice Chair of Public Relations, and previously served as Financial Secretary.

Joshua B. Brooks, also a Bankruptcy Associate, joins the MJL Board as Vice Chair of Law School Outreach for a one year term.

The mission of the Multicultural Judges & Lawyers Section is to “further the interests of attorneys, judges and members of the community of diverse ethnic backgrounds, foster communication and understanding among diverse groups within both the legal and greater community, encourage the public service rendered by its Members and promote the professional development and interests of its Members.”
