Young Conaway’s Employment Law Group has been providing harassment prevention training for over 30 years. Our training is presented by renowned Delaware employment law attorneys and complies with Delaware’s legal requirement for interactive, harassment-prevention training as established under the Delaware Discrimination in Employment Act (DDEA).
Our training will educate your employees on what constitutes sexual harassment and unlawful retaliation, provide examples of inappropriate conduct and effective ways to respond, and offer employees practical solutions on how to prevent and address harassment in the workplace. Our harassment prevention training services also comport with the recommendations made in the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission’s (EEOC) Select Task Force on the Study of Harassment in the Workplace.
We offer the following harassment prevention training programs:
In-Person Training
The EEOC believes the most effective harassment training is conducted live, by an interactive trainer. Our employment law attorneys provide live, in-person training to employees and supervisors that covers the required Delaware topics, and addresses issues such as civility in the workplace and promoting bystander intervention. We can tailor each training program to suit your objectives and our training services may be expanded to address a variety of other employment law topics. In-Person Training is offered on a fixed-fee basis per training session.
Interactive Webinar Training
Beginning in March 2019, Young Conaway’s Employment Law Group will conduct a semi-monthly interactive webinar training course on harassment prevention. These one-and-a-half- to two-hour webinar courses will allow your employees to obtain the requisite harassment prevention training at the convenience of their individual workstations, or in a conference room group setting. The webinar will cover topics included in our In-Person Training, and allow participants to ask our employment law attorneys live questions in an open forum. We offer two courses (tailored to rank-and-file employees and supervisors, respectively) and fees are based on the number of participants in attendance.
